“United Nations” Wall Sconce 7081-W-4
Seventies Family
For the Headquarters of the United Nations the architect Calro Mang designed these geometric wall sconces. The simple design not only blends into modern architecture but also facilitates easy maintenance and cleaning.
On a thin brass frame with nickel finish finest hand-cut crystals in lead-free quality applied. The fixings of the crystals is done making use of the traditional wiring-technique handed down from the earliest crystal chandelier makers of the 16th century.
Through this technique the removable grid-elements can even take cleaning in a household dishwasher. This of course is only feasible up to a given size of the fixture.
